Remembrance Sunday is held in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth of Nations as a day "to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts". Remembrance is part of modern British life, culture and heritage. It becomes a particular feature of the public calendar each year when public, private, formal and informal Remembrance events take place throughout the UK.

Mr Ken Tam BEM BCAc and Mrs Betty Tam were invited to represent the Liverpool Chinese community to attend the Remembrance Ceremony at St George's Hall on Sunday 12th November 2017.
